FEDERICO SANDRI

Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri founded their own design studio in 2010.
Based in Bergamo and Bolzano, they work in the fields of industrial design, interior design, and creative direction.
Their collaboration evolves through a continuous dialogue, enriched by a careful observation of spaces and aspects of contemporary living. Experimentation with different materials and processes, along with the interplay between industrial production and craftsmanship, forms the basis of their approach—leading them to consider each project as part of a larger context. The constant search for balance between silence and expressiveness is the guiding thread of their designs.
Daniel and Federico have created work for renowned clients such as Antoniolupi, Lema, Ligne Roset, Normann Copenhagen, Offecct, Rosenthal, Stelton, and Villeroy & Boch, among others. Many of their projects have received international design awards and have been featured in publications worldwide.

Daniel Debiasi and Federico Sandri have designed Beat for Opificio Ceramico™. The collection originates from an exploration of the passage of time and the rhythmic sequence of things produced by man and nature: from the furrows of a sown field to building facades, the rippling of water, or footprints in the snow.

“With Beat we wanted to tell the story of the passage of time, the traces that man leaves on nature, the value of matter and craftsmanship. We tried to express it with a subtle, almost chiseled texture, whose imprint remains impressed in raw earth.”
